DO NOT DISCARD. What an inspiration! It is impossible to not feel encouraged and hopeful by the perseverance of Sam. This book is so well written and makes you feel as if you are right there, on the journey, with this amazing boy. Quite often I found myself stopping to reflect that all of this is a true story... the hardship and pain as well as the love.
